Because ballet is awesome. That word gets used a lot, but ballet really inspires some awe. Ballet is an art and art is meant to evoke emotion and for me ballet is joy joy joy. So, subscribe to get full access to the newsletter and publication archives.

Why do I write?

Well, it helps me notice. Plus, practice writing helps for a student who’s dream job is to watch dance every night a write about (aka be a dance critic.)

I’m also spending numerous hours watching videos of Suzanne Farrell in Diamonds and refreshing the New York City Ballet casting page anyways, so why not write about it? share it?
